Hello! My name is Terri Hughes and I have been an ECE for over 40 years. I have worked in a variety of settings including a Child Development Centre Preschool, operating a small family daycare, Supervisor of a larger group daycare at North Island College, Substitute Instructor in the ECE program at NIC, and most recently at Tigger Too Preschool in Comox. I am the mother of one grown daughter and two grown sons and Grandmother to one amazing granddaughter ( the job I trained my entire life for!) I love to be with young children and with each stage of life I find more and more joy in watching them learn and grow. In my spare time I love to garden, quilt and I am renovating a hundred year old house!
Alin Rose Manjila
Hello, I am Miss Alin, and I am very happy to meet you all. I am from a place called Kerala in India and I have been in Canada for the past 5 years and absolutely love it here. I always had a passion for teaching since I was a kid and made it a reality. I did my Early Childhood Care and Education from North Island College and has been working in the field for the past 3 years. Spending time with children really helps me to bring my inner child out. Exploring children’s ideas or interests, or curiosities with them is my favourite thing to do. We are going to have lots of fun and play and learn!!!
